Graphic Design & Brand Support

Practical design that helps your business look clear, consistent and recognisable

Jinx Consulting provides graphic design and brand support for small and medium businesses, regional businesses and organisations across Gippsland and throughout Australia.

From social media graphics and promotional materials to document layouts, website graphics and reusable templates, we create practical visual assets that help your organisation communicate professionally across every channel.

More than making things look good

Good design helps people understand what they are looking at

Graphic design has a practical communication role. It guides attention, creates structure and helps people recognise how different pieces of information belong together.

When your website, social media, brochures, reports and other materials share a consistent visual language, your business becomes easier to recognise and its communication feels more credible.

You do not always need a complete rebrand to achieve this. Sometimes the greatest improvement comes from applying what you already have more clearly and consistently.

Design that brings everything together

Design that brings everything together

Good design makes information clearer, gives your communication a consistent visual structure and provides practical assets that work across everyday business needs.

When those elements are applied thoughtfully, your business becomes easier to recognise wherever people encounter it, from your website and social media to printed materials, reports and presentations.

Every interaction shapes the impression

Your brand is experienced in more places than your logo

People may encounter your business through a social media post, website page, proposal, email attachment, flyer, presentation or printed brochure. Each interaction contributes to their understanding of who you are and what they can expect.

When these materials look disconnected, use different styles or present information poorly, the business can feel less established than it really is. Even strong content can lose impact when the layout is cluttered, difficult to read or inconsistent with the rest of the brand.

A clear visual system gives these materials a shared foundation. Colours, fonts, imagery, layout and graphic elements work together so people can recognise the business wherever they encounter it.

This does not mean every item should look identical. It means each one should feel related, purposeful and appropriate to the information it needs to communicate.

Practical assets for everyday communication

Design support shaped around what your business actually needs

Social media graphics

We create branded social media graphics for regular content, campaigns, announcements, events, promotions and educational posts.

Designs can be developed as individual assets, coordinated campaign sets or reusable templates that support a more consistent publishing rhythm.

Marketing and campaign materials

We design visual materials that support specific services, offers, launches, campaigns and events.

This may include flyers, posters, advertisements, promotional tiles, handouts, digital downloads and supporting campaign graphics across online and offline channels.

Brochures and service guides

We create brochures, service guides and information booklets that organise detailed material into a clear and approachable format.

The design is shaped around how the document will be used, whether it will be printed, emailed, downloaded from a website or adapted for several purposes.

Capability statements and business profiles

We design professional capability statements and company profiles that bring together your services, experience, credentials, project examples and contact information.

These materials can help prospective clients and partners quickly understand who you are, what you offer and why your experience may be relevant to them.

Proposals and tender documents

We improve the presentation of proposals, submissions and tender documents through clearer hierarchy, branded formatting and more considered page layouts.

The aim is to make complex information easier to navigate without allowing decorative elements to distract from the substance of the response.

Reports and publications

We design annual reports, project reports, evaluation summaries, strategies, plans and community-facing publications.

Our broader consulting and communications experience helps us understand the information itself, identify the intended audience and create a structure that supports genuine reading and comprehension.

Website graphics

We develop visual assets to strengthen website pages and make important information easier to understand.

This can include service graphics, icons, diagrams, promotional panels, downloadable resources, banners and supporting illustrations developed to fit the wider website design.

Presentation design

We create and refine presentation slides for meetings, workshops, pitches, training, community engagement and internal communication.

Existing presentations can be reorganised and restyled, or a reusable presentation system can be developed for future use.

Branded document templates

We create practical templates for proposals, reports, letters, presentations, information sheets and other frequently used documents.

Templates help internal teams produce new material more efficiently while maintaining a clearer and more consistent visual standard.

Canva templates

We can develop editable Canva templates for social media posts, event promotions, announcements, testimonials and other repeat communication needs.

The templates are designed around realistic internal capability, helping your team update content without having to recreate the design each time.

Brand reviews and visual consistency

We review how your existing brand is being used across websites, social media, documents and marketing materials.

This can identify inconsistent colours, fonts, imagery, spacing or layout treatments and provide a practical direction for bringing them into better alignment.

Infographics and information design

We turn processes, comparisons, statistics and complex information into visual formats that are easier to understand.

Infographics can be developed for websites, reports, presentations, social media, community engagement and educational materials.
Understand, organise, design

A design process grounded in communication

01

Understand

We begin by understanding your business, audience, message and the purpose of the material.

We also review any existing logos, colours, fonts, brand guidelines, documents or digital assets that should inform the work.

02

Clarify

We define what the design needs to communicate, where it will be used and what the audience should understand or do next.

This stage helps establish the format, content hierarchy and practical requirements before visual development begins.

03

Design

We develop the initial design direction using layout, typography, colour, imagery and graphic elements suited to your organisation and audience.

The work is guided by the communication goal rather than adding visual elements simply to fill space.

04

Refine

You review the design and provide feedback through an agreed process. We make the necessary adjustments while protecting the clarity and consistency of the overall result.

Where feedback points in different directions, we help work through the options and explain the practical implications.

05

Prepare

Once approved, we prepare the required files for their intended use. This may include print-ready artwork, website files, social media formats, editable templates or digital documents.

Where appropriate, we also provide simple guidance to help your team use the assets consistently in the future.

Design connected to the message

Strategic thinking, clear content and practical design in one process

Graphic design is often treated as a finishing task. The words, format and communication approach are decided first, then handed to a designer with the instruction to make them look appealing.

That approach can produce polished material without resolving whether the message is clear, whether the structure makes sense or whether the format suits the audience.

Jinx Consulting considers the information and the design together. We can help clarify the message, organise the content, identify what the audience needs and create the finished visual material as one connected process.

Our experience across websites, copywriting, social media, strategic communications, engagement, evaluation and planning is particularly useful when the subject matter is detailed or the communication needs to serve several audiences.

The result is design with a practical role. It helps the content work, strengthens the wider brand and gives your organisation materials it can use with confidence.

Practical support for different organisations

Graphic design for businesses, teams and community-facing organisations

Our graphic design and brand support is particularly suited to small and medium businesses that need professional materials but do not have an internal designer or marketing team.

We work with trades, consultants, professional services, health and wellbeing providers, tourism businesses, retailers, regional brands and other service-based businesses. We also support not-for-profits, community organisations, local government, education and early years services and purpose-led organisations.

Some clients come to us with an established brand that needs to be applied more consistently. Others have a logo and a small collection of materials but no clear visual system around them. We can work with either position, building on what is useful and identifying where practical improvements will make the greatest difference.

Based in Gippsland, we understand the needs of regional businesses and organisations working with limited internal resources and varied audiences. We also provide graphic design and brand support throughout Victoria and across Australia.

One brand across every channel

Design works best when it supports the wider message

A graphic should not exist separately from the content, campaign or customer journey around it. Social media graphics need useful captions. A brochure should reflect the website. A campaign should carry the same message from the first advertisement through to the landing page.

Design questions, clearly answered

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a complete rebrand?
Not necessarily. Many businesses already have useful brand elements but need help applying them more consistently or adapting them to current communication needs. We can review what you have and recommend whether a light refresh, clearer supporting system or set of new materials would be sufficient.
Can you create a new logo?
We can assist with practical logo and visual identity development where it forms part of an appropriate brand-support project. Our focus is on creating a usable identity for small businesses and organisations rather than offering an extensive high-end brand agency process. We will discuss the required scope clearly before beginning.
Can you work with our existing brand guidelines?
Yes. We can design within existing brand guidelines and create new materials that follow the established colours, typography, imagery and logo rules. If the guidelines leave gaps or no longer cover the formats you use, we can also recommend practical extensions.
What if we only have a logo?

A logo can provide a useful starting point. We can build a simple visual system around it using complementary colours, fonts, imagery, layouts and supporting graphic elements.

This can give the organisation greater consistency without replacing an identity that people already recognise.

Can you create editable Canva templates?
Yes. We can design Canva templates for recurring social media posts, announcements, events, testimonials and other communication needs. Templates are built to be realistically editable, with clear areas for changing text and images without undermining the overall design. Most of our graphic design work is handled in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop but providing Canva templates allows a cost-effective editing process that our clients can manage for themselves without ongoing graphic design commissioning charges.
Can you design materials for both print and digital use?
Yes. We prepare artwork according to how it will be used, including print-ready files, web-optimised images, social media formats and digital documents. Some materials may require separate versions to work properly across different sizes or formats.
Can you arrange printing?
We can prepare print-ready files and liaise with printers where this forms part of the agreed project. We have established relationships with printers across the region to offer you flexibility, quality and the right price. Printing costs, specialist finishes, delivery and any third-party production requirements will be identified separately.
Can you improve a brochure or report we already have?
Yes. We can refine the layout, improve readability, apply a more consistent visual style and reorganise the information where needed. If the written content also needs work, the project can connect with our content marketing and copywriting service.
What files will we receive?

The final file types depend on the project and intended use. These may include PDF, PNG, JPG or other agreed formats, as well as editable templates where these are included in the scope.

We will confirm the required formats before final artwork is prepared.

How many design revisions are included?
The number of review rounds will be defined in the project scope. A clear and consolidated feedback process helps keep the work efficient and prevents conflicting changes. Additional revisions or changes outside the agreed direction can be quoted separately where required.
Who owns the completed designs?
Once the agreed project has been completed and paid for, the approved finished designs are yours to use for their intended business purposes. Any third-party fonts, stock imagery, templates or licensed assets will remain subject to their applicable licence conditions.
